In 2023, Fuksa showcased his skills as a junior cornerback, leading Texas athletes in pass breakups and ranking second in kick return yards among all juniors. He played a crucial role in guiding the 5A Reedy Lions to an impressive 11-2 record and the playoffs' second round. The team's defense was dominant, ranking first in the district in various categories, while Fuksa made significant individual contributions with interceptions, tackles, and all-purpose yards.
In 2024 Josiah returns as a starting CB and Return man for the Reedy Lions. In addition to those duties he will be challenged to provide an occasional spark on offense.
